Residential Services
The Arc of Putnam County is committed to offering the highest quality care in residential services. Group homes at Kennedy Street, River Street, Westover, John’s Place, and Silver Lake provide residential services and support to adults with a primary diagnosis of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our supervised apartment complex at Tyrrell Oaks provides full residential support, uniquely delivered in individualized apartments. This complex is located in a residential area in our community and is beautifully maintained to enhance the neighborhoods they share.
All community-home residents receive individualized training to increase or maintain skills in self-care, daily living, community safety, and the pursuit of personal goals. Other training opportunities include making and exercising personal choices, understanding individual human rights, medications, and their uses and side effects, and basic education in areas of personal interest.
Individuals served are clients of Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities or have other funding sources. More information about service eligibility and entrance requirements are available through The Arc’s Social Services Department.

Supported Living
Supported Living Services are designed to provide support to people with disabilities who live in their own homes. Support is provided by our trained Supported Living Coaches who work under the direction of the person being served. There is a vast amount of individualized support that helps individuals live independently in the community, including:

Apartment Living
The Arc offers a fully supervised apartment complex designed to serve individuals who can benefit from the advantages of living in their own apartment, yet may require support in meal preparation, medication management, and around-the-clock staff availability. These settings provide residents with an opportunity to develop new skills that may support independent living in the future.

- Minimum Care – $4,570.96
- Moderate Care – $6,258.37
- Major Services (EXT 1) – $8,004.27

- Board – Variable based on SNAP benefits, if any
Limited Scholarships may be available based on financial need
Transportation
- Ambulatory Rate – $9.76/ hour
- Non-Ambulatory Rate – $23.77/hour
