Step up for inclusion and empowerment by registering for the Bridge Walk for Inclusion! Every stride you take supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and promotes a more inclusive community for all. Be part of our inaugural event and Register Today to be a champion for change..

With a $20 minimum donation, you'll receive a custom t-shirt designed by two of our talented Arc friends, AND the chance to enjoy a beautiful walk with some truly amazing members of our community. Can't make it? No problem! You can still make a difference by sponsoring a friend of the Arc or making a donation.

Achieve With Style

Walk the walk, rock the tee — support our friends in style with this one-of-a-kind designer shirt.
I drew the horse because it reminded me of being around horses and to feel free.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. Registration must be completed before the day of the walk to guarantee your t-shirt and help us plan ahead. There will be no same-day registration.

Where do I pick up my shirt?

Shirts may be picked up the morning of the walk. Please get there early to ensure you have enough time to park, grab your shirt, and be walk ready by 9am.

Do I get a shirt if I donate but don’t walk?

Yes — a $20+ donation gets you a shirt, which can be picked up at our main office the week after the walk.

If you sponsor a friend, we’ll make sure they receive the shirt.

Where does the walk start?

At the base of the Veterans Memorial Bridge on the Palatka side.

Where should I park?

Parking is available at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, on the side facing the bridge.

How long is the walk?

It’s less than 2 miles round trip — a short, scenic walk across the bridge and back.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. The walk begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Is the walk wheelchair/stroller accessible?

The bridge is quite steep, so wheelchairs and strollers are welcome but may find the incline challenging.
Please use your best judgment and roll at your own comfort level.
A great alternative is the accessible deck area beneath the bridge — the perfect spot to cheer on walkers and be part of the action!

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely — we love pups! Just make sure they’re leashed and cleaned up after.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll monitor the weather closely. For everyone’s safety, we’ll postpone the event in the case of lightning or severe weather. Check our website or social media for updates.
