Join us for Arc’s 2026 Summer Camp — Achieve Relax Create! Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience! A.R.C. Camp is a 4-day program designed for children of all abilities, ages 5–12, where fun, creativity, and connection come together. Campers will have opportunities to try new things, build confidence, and make meaningful friendships along the way. Our inclusive approach ensures that every child feels supported, engaged, and successful—no matter their ability level.
Each day, campers will:

  • Achieve through exciting hands-on activities, teamwork, and new challenges
  • Relax with movement, downtime, and a supportive, welcoming environment
  • Create through art, imagination, and self-expression

A Peek into Camp Week

Day 1: EARTH

Celebrate Earth Day at Camp! A Day of Nature, Creativity & Fun Join us for an Earth-themed day packed with hands-on activities that bring us closer to nature! Wear blue or green shirts to show your Earth spirit as we dive into a variety of eco-friendly crafts and outdoor fun:
  • Make friendship bracelets inspired by nature — because the Earth is our friend
  • Decorate yummy Earth cookies
  • Plant flowers to brighten our community
  • Build bird feeders to attract feathered friends
  • Spot playful squirrels around camp
  • Create with nature-colored play dough

Day 2: AIR

Let's enjoy a breezy celebration on Air Day! Get ready to make your mark with our fun hand painting activity, where your colorful prints will float across our camp banner. Don’t forget to wear a plain white shirt — you’ll be decorating it with air-inspired designs to take home as a keepsake!

Day 3: FIRE

Ignite Your Summer at Fire-Themed Camp Day! Get fired up for a blazing good time at our sizzling summer camp where everything is all about FIRE! Dress in your boldest reds and explore real-life firepower with a hands-on visit to a fire truck!
  • Visit from a real fire truck
  • Make edible campfires with pretzels, marshmallows, M&Ms, candy corn, and fruit roll-ups
  • Get creative with mini fire-themed activity bins
  • Create your own “Lava Bottle” in a mason jar
It’s a hot day of fun you won’t want to miss!

Day 4: WATER

Splash into Fun – Water Day at Camp! Get ready to cool off and make a splash at our exciting Water-Themed Day at camp! There’s a ton of fun to be had, including water gun games, water ring toss in our mini pool, and more. Be sure to pack a bathing suit, towel, and a full change of clothes!

  • Face painting for extra fun and color
  • Lunch provided: pizza, chips, cupcakes & drinks

Does my child need a diagnosed disability to attend?

No. Our camp is open to all children ages 5–12, with or without a diagnosed disability.

 

Are campers grouped by age or ability?

We typically group campers by age ranges: 5–7, 8–10, and 11–12, so that activities are developmentally appropriate and socially engaging.

 

Do campers need to bring lunch or snacks?

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on three of the four days by the Putnam County School District. (Details about the fourth day are being finalized.)

 

Is there a quiet or sensory-friendly space available?

Yes. We provide a calming area where campers can take sensory breaks as needed.

 

Will occupational therapists or support staff be present?

We’re working to confirm staffing and hope to have occupational therapy support on site.

 

What should my child bring each day?

Please pack comfortable clothes, a change of clothes, and a refillable water bottle.

 

Is the camp accessible for children with mobility challenges?

Yes. Our facility is designed to accommodate campers with mobility needs.

 

What happens if my child becomes overwhelmed or needs help regulating?

Our staff is trained to offer support, and we’ll contact parents if additional help is needed.

 

Are scholarships or financial aid options available?
